Minty Moo Charcoal Soap - the powerhouse of skincare & haircare. This soap is packed with activated charcoal that detoxifies the skin and pulls out toxins, leaving your skin feeling fresh & clean.

All natural & organic ingredients help with acne, fight infections & also soothes irritation as well as exfoliates for healthy, glowing skin.

This soap bar can be used as a shampoo & conditoner bar plus the high fat content of beef tallow ensures that the soap produces a soft lather while also providing a long shelf life.

Directions:

To use wet hair & soap bar. Lather with your hands first & then apply bar directly to hair, lifting sections of hair as you go along to thoroughly massage shampoo into scalp.

When you're switching to Coco's Tallow all natural products for your hair - your hair will most likely go through a transition period where the old silicones and waxes will be pulled from the scalp + hair . This can cause a waxy, dry feeling to the hair (everyone purges different) but don't worry it's temporary and an Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse will help speed the detox process up + will also keep your PH at balance making for happy healthy scalp.

Apple cider vinegar coats the cuticle, leaving the hair soft and shiny. It also helps to strengthen your hair by closing the cuticles and the hair shafts. Mix 2 to 4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with 16 ounces of water.

After shampooing with Cocos Tallow Minty Moo Charcoal Soap (or any of our tallow soap products) simply pour the mixture over your hair evenly, working into your scalp. Let it sit for a couple of minutes. Rinse it out. Apply this technique with consistancy to see the results of what an all natural hair routine can do to your head, hair + scalp.

  • Hair care details

Switching to a natural hair care routine is a great move, both for your hair and the planet. It won’t be a smooth ride, though. The beginning of a hair detox can be frustrating, but this phase is only temporary. In the end, it will all be worth it, and you will have healthier hair

Everyone’s hair is different, and the type of damage can vary, but there are three basic detox responses. You may be lucky and only experience one symptom. Or you might be unlucky and experience all three of them over the course of your detox. Just know that it is normal and part of the process while your scalp and hair readjust and regulate the oil production cycle.

Your hair feels sticky, heavy, matted, and/or tangled -

This is the most common of the detox symptoms. When your hair and scalp release all of the chemical build-up, the plastics from your previous hair care products stick to anything they can touch, including your hair.

Your hair and scalp feel extremely oil - If you have oily hair, it’s because your scalp is used to being stripped of its oils constantly and is overproducing oil to compensate. Once your scalp readjusts the oil output, this will go away. If you use a shampoo with sulfates in it during your detox, you can shock your scalp and will have to go through the entire detox process again.

Your hair feels dry, rough, and brittle - If you have used conventional hair dyes, hair straightening products, sulfate shampoos, etc., then this damage will rear its ugly head during the detox process. As you start shedding the silicones from your hair, you will see the true nature of the damage that has been done to your hair.

The change can take up to 4-6 weeks depending on the amount of build-up in the scalp and hair, but in most cases, 2-3 weeks is enough to find a new balanced state in the scalp and hair. Keep going it will be worth it !

    Obsessed 🖤

I recently purchased this handmade charcoal soap and I am blown away by its quality. The use of quality grass fed tallow, a natural and traditional ingredient makes this soap stand out from others on the market. Not only does it thoroughly cleanse my skin, but it also leaves it feeling soft and nourished. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a high-quality and natural soap option.

I love me a Minty Moo!

I’ve been using this as a body soap all month and I get so excited to use it every time, knowing that it’s tallow, it’s smells soo good, and the name of the soap - Minty Moo- makes me giggle every time

My skin has been supple and soft, without the excess need to slather on moisturizer. On days that I am so busy and don’t get to that step, when I use Minty Moo I don’t end up with ashy legs. It’s been really nice on my skin irritations/?eczema patches. Excited to restock <3
